On October 14, 2026, we welcomed Robert Becker (1970), a German writer and poet living in Hungary. In Room 113 at TÓK, he spoke to graduating students studying to become German-ethnic primary and preschool teachers about, among other things, his life, his family, his studies, and his relationship to his native language and the German dialect. She then read excerpts from her books “Verkehrte Welt – Fordított világ,” “Firlefanz,” and “Ti Hausschlange.” The author-reader meeting concluded with an informal discussion.
Thank you for visiting, and we look forward to welcoming the author back!
