Oksana Rudych, a faculty member from our Erasmus+ ICM (International Credit Mobility) partner university, Korolenko Pedagogical University in Poltava (Ukraine), arrived at TÓK on a faculty mobility visit and spent the week of April 13–17 with us. During her visit, she first contributed to the Faculty Days program with a communication workshop, which she co-led with two psychologist colleagues from Poltava, Tetiana Titova and Ivan Titov. She then participated in the language programs of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, including a crash course in Ukrainian for our Ukrainian student, the “Drop Everything and Teach/Learn Languages!” event, and the dance house (Traditions/Folk Costumes Day). On Wednesday, she gave a presentation to the first-year KIDE group on the current state of education in Ukraine, language acquisition in pre-school, and pedagogical methods adapted to the war situation. Together with her colleague, she also attended Éva Trentinné Benkő’s class on Intercultural Communication.
