An excerpt from Andrea Poros, leader of the programme's report.

The Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), held between 17 and 22 May, provided participants with an enriching and inspiring learning experience through a diverse range of academic, professional, and cultural activities. I was fortunate to spend time with a group of warm-hearted and enthusiastic students, Boglárka Gulyás, Petra Kovács, Emese Szanics, Necla Öztürk, Réka Rajna, Emese Szanics, Nóra Tárkányi and Viktória Tóth whose curiosity, cooperation, and intercultural openness contributed significantly to the success of the programme.

The programme brought together participants from Spain, France, and Hungary to explore the practical implementation of children's rights as articulated in the 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Through lectures, discussions, and field visits, students and staff examined how these rights are upheld and promoted in various educational and social contexts.

A particularly valuable aspect of the programme was the opportunity to visit a family and child-support institution operating within the framework of the SIS Marilo – Servei d’Intervenció Socioeducativa. The visit provided first-hand insight into how child well-being can be enhanced through family support services, preventive interventions, emotional care, and the development of supportive everyday environments. Visits to a kindergarten, an interactive museum as well as the guided city walk, further demonstrated how children's rights are reflected in community life and public spaces.

Participants from Spain, France and Hungary shared their reflections on the programme and their experiences. The event included poster presentations, discussions on children's rights, and a collective viewing and analysis of the award-winning film Capernaum (2018), which offered a powerful starting point for reflecting on the realities of childhood, vulnerability, and social (in)justice.
