GrowingUP project

Project name: GrowingUP – Empowering the Future Voices of Children Through Media Literacy and Critical Thinking

The GrowingUP project aims to establish a child-centred Youth Participation Mechanism that supports the incorporation of children’s views into local and European decision-making processes by developing the media literacy, critical thinking, and democratic participation skills of 10- to 15-year-olds. The project aims to develop a systemic and inclusive solution that ensures children’s active and meaningful participation in public life in the long term.

The project is funded by the European Commission’s Call for proposals on rights of the child and children’s participation (CERV-2025-CHILD).
