Magdolna Szabadi’s music therapy workshop at the Faculty of Reformed Teacher Training and Music of Babeș–Bolyai University during the week of May 18, 2026.

During the week of May 18, 2026, the Reformed Faculty of Education and Music at Babeș–Bolyai University hosted Magdolna Szabadi’s highly successful music therapy workshop. The professional program was organized as part of the Makovecz Scholarship Program, with the goal of developing students’ social and emotional competencies through art therapy tools. During the sessions, the students demonstrated exceptional engagement: through their personal accounts and reflections, they not only enriched the program but also highlighted the cross-border potential of art therapy and the methodology’s intercultural significance. The professional dialogue continued within the teaching community as well: Magdolna Szabadi discussed the practical applicability of the topic with her colleagues at the faculty during a classroom observation, further deepening methodological cooperation between higher education institutions in Hungary and Transylvania.
