    -  The Welcome Day is a faculty based welcome programme organized for incoming students of our faculty only (ELTE Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education).

  7. Meet your mentor (optional)

  8. Health Aptitude – Health Booklet (see below).

Health Aptitude

Kindergarten and nursery field practice can only be done when in possession of a valid health booklet. The health booklet must be renewed annually. Institutions must be epidemiologically safe. Therefore, it is necessary to certify that the person working/doing their field practice there does not suffer from any infectious disease/and does not endanger the health of others. To this end, the enrolled student must undergo and pass the occupational health tests.

The health tests are organized by ELTE TÓK (Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education).  Students will be informed via email about the order and application process of each examination and will also be informed about the location and time.

The medical examination is free of charge (unless the student misses their appointment; in this case the student have to cover the costs).

Parts of the medical examinations:

  • Lung screening (Xray)
  • Stool test
  • General medical tests (eye, blood pressure, etc.)

Internship/Practice

Practical training plays an important role in the Kindergarten Education BA and Early Childhood Education BA programmes.

Therefore, our students complete both group and individual internships on a weekly basis in international or bilingual nurseries from the first semester of their education.

Due to the regulations, students need a so-called health booklet (see in the Health aptitude section) to start their practice.

The following staff are responsible for the smooth organization of each practice. Please contact them if you have any question.
