On February 5, 2026, Márta Dallos, assistant professor at the Department of Vocal Music, defended her dissertation entitled "The Music Education Career of László Lukin: The Theoretical and Practical Application, Preservation, and Transmission of Kodály Pedagogy" with the highest possible score, and Katalin Kovács defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "A Cross-sectional Study of Singing Ability and its Correlation with Affective Factors in Children Aged 6-13" with summa cum laude on February 9, 2026.
